Microsoft blunders

Microsoft has also managed to upset women and entire countries. A Spanish-language version of Windows XP, destined for Latin American markets, asked users to select their gender between "not specified," "male" or "bitch," because of an unfortunate error in translation.

I also can't believe they shipped Windows to India with Kashmir as non-Indian territory.

For a while Mercedes Benz was shipping cars to the Middle East that had GPS locators and left Israel off the map.

was fun reading that article and yes, not very smart mistakes either...

it does almost seem sometimes you need an expert on every darn country in the world, so you might prevent some offending here and there... MS is big enough though and they have offices anywhere...they should have checked with there local offices if there are any bugs/offending items in new releases. Some are hard to spot though....
