Well, all the Americans out there must know how living in America is great for cinnamon! You get Big Red, Cinnabon, Cinnamon Pretzels, god knows what else. In England we basically have no Cinnamon, well, we have Big Red in some shop but its over priced because its imported, along with the Lucky Charms that are like £7 (aprox. $11)

Anyway, where i live there used to be a Cinnabon, but it was removed some time ago and me and my friends want it back. So if you have a few seconds free could you please sign this petition? I know it probably won't count for anything but its worth a try. So please spend a few seconds putting in your name and signing the petition, please.

Thanks!

Not that I approve of cinnamon abuse, of course (it's a gateway spice to cardamon), but I have signed your petition.

    Now get help, man.

Last I checked, cinnabon was more about the coronary bypass than about cinnamon.

Moving on, if you're lucky you might chance upon a certain Haagen Dazs store that has cinnamon ice cream. It's very good. . . . But don't be fooled, "Haagen Dazs" is an american company, so the prospect of finding it in Europe is still slim. . . . Although they do appear to have some stores worldwide.

Nigella Lawson's book 'How to be a domestic goddess'

has a very good recipe for 'Norwegian Cinnamon Buns'

(which = Cinnabons without the copyright infringement), on page 322.

    They are simple to make.

But I long for the days when I could go down to 31 Flavors (Baskin Robbins') for Peppermint ice cream (the pink kind). Can't find that flavor anywhere.

Yeah, peppermint is one of my all times favs. I only saw the cinnamon flavor once, about 4 years ago, in the Haagen Dazs store near the Apple Store in Tyson's corner. (Yes, the first Apple Store.) I had it, and it was good.

for those of you living in toronto, you know those bastards at cinnabon have strategically placed a few cinnabons in subway stations to hit you just as you are starving getting off the train to or from work. it was all i could do somedays to keep walking past... then i think i actually read the calories/fat in a single cinnabon, and realized i could have one... a year. alongside my annual fish & chips dinner... and spend the rest of the weekend recuperating.
