Multiple desktop, CD icons in sidebar

OS X 10.3.5 has recently begun showing multiple versions of both the desktop and CD's in the sidebar of the Finder and open/save dialogue boxes. I've tried repairing permissions, but no luck. I just recently did a completely clean install of the OS; sometime after that, I started to get multiple icons. Sometimes up to 8 CD icons will appear; very weird. In addition to having multiple CD images in the sidebar, the CD icons will actually show up on the desktop.

    This happens when you burn cd's, especially if you use the OSX native burning (draging to the trash to burn etc.)



    Just click on the icon of theCD and depress the Apple & e keys. (eject volume)

    They should go byebye.
