Anyone tried Opera on Mac?

I'm suprised I'm saying this but until Firefox starts running better on my PC I'm going to stick with Opera. It's way overpriced at $39 (assuming you hate the free banner version) but I admit I like some of the features and it's a bit more fluid than Firefox to me.

The idea of paying for a browser is foreign to many but I'd pay for a browser that is a cut above the rest. Opera isn't quite there yet but who knows where they'll be by version 8. I have high hopes for Omni. I hope Omniweb continues to blaze forward adding features I never knew I wanted but can't live without now.

I just use safari, and sometimes netscape. I've used Opera, and liked the newer uncluttered versions, but fact that a browser has a price tag has always bothered me.

Yes. Paying for a browser means that I expect it to function better than the freebies. Today I just found out about "Mouse Gestures" pretty cool kinda makes some things like going back a page or returning to the root page easy. Once Omniweb gets synced with the latest webcore I think it'll start to shine more than it does already.

I kind of like the idea of paying for a browser because it gives more weight to my comments about feature requests and the like. Money talks.
