.dms Giving me the shazlicks

What's the deal. Everything that I download nowadays seems to be a .dms file. I'm sure these little SOB's just mounted themselves on my old G4 466 tower. now on my powerbook [ G4 1.5GHz ] they just sit on my desktop with no native app to mount them.

PS I just fingerd it out. all i had to do was change teh extension to .dmg.

    I had the same problem turns out I had speed downloader installed and had to re-run the uninstaller.



    Every .dmg I downloaded turned in to a .dms I had to re-named it to .dmg

    Thanks. I just figured it out after i posted it. I had Speed downloader as well,

    What a pain in the ass that pice of software turned out to be

    I agree I couldn't get rid of it fast enough

    I use a registered version (don't ask me...) of Speed Download and it works fine. This is the latest version.



    But yes, it is a piece of work.
