Help!

My first (3G) iPod was replaced last spring because of a faulty Drive. Recently i looked at the bottom of my new iPod and the dock connector and saw what looks to be a burned out portion of the connectors. Below is my best effort to show that area (sorry about the quality)... [BR]

[BR] Immediately after i saw these burn marks, my battery life, especially when using iTrip, fell down to about 45 mins. of play per charge.

Seeing that this is already a relplacement iPod, will i be able to get this replaced?

Sorry if this is a vague description, and thanks for your help.

doesn't look good... how old is the iPod (since you bought it). If it is more then a year and you HAVEN'T purchased the iPod AppleCare then you are most likely SOL...

However, you could beg at a Geinus Bar and explain that the replacement pod is less then a year old and the battery is defective. You may make some progress with that course.

Thanks for the reply- - the original iPod was bought last fall (less than a year) and replaced in the spring. Unfortunately, that is the best picture i can show right now. Would they replace my iPod AGAIN since the 1-year warranty isn't out yet or is there a "one replacement" rule?

yes, just take it to an apple store and show them the problem. They should replace it as long as it is under warranty...
