1. Started with a ATi 9800 Pro, but now have a NVIDIA 6800GT.
2. Yep. 1920x1200.
3. No. The LCD doesn't show it, but I also have a 19" CRT hooked up and you can see the bios screen on that until the XP splash screen loads - that pops up on the LCD.
It's an XFX 6800GT. I've never heard of XFX, but it easily overclocked to Ultra speeds (406 Core/1.1 Memory).
I've got a Athlon64 3400+, MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R, 1Gig of Corsair XMS TwinX1024-3200XLPRO, Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro, etc.
It's overkill for a gaming rig, but that's all I use it for.

hmm bios post is a necessity
my main desktop is linux (gentoo)
but sometimes i do boot into win2k for gaming
Again, I only game in my Windows box. My hobby is capturing gaming footage via the 6800's S-Video out to my DV camera, then editing it in Final Cut Express on my iBook (waiting for G5 2.5's to be in supply, then I'll grab one of those to edit on).
I don't have the time for Linux.

nope cant have 2 monitors no deskspace left
I often don't have the second monitor hooked up and because I've modified what services load at startup (using BlackViper's site) I need to choose a different profile. I just wait for the second beep from my mobo and I know to hit the down arrow twice to get to my gaming profile and hit enter.
If you can hook up a second monitor temporarily, you can learn the rhythm and enjoy cinema display happiness - I can't tell you how amazing this 23" is.
