So the new iMac is out.

I have a 15" 1.25 GHz powerbook and an old 500MHz iBook (as well as a 12" 1GHz powerbook for my campus rep position).

My plan of action is as follows. Tell me if this is reasonable.

First- get my white spots fixed on the powerbook.

Second- eBay the powerbook and get around $1600-1700 for it.

Third- Buy a new 17" G5 iMac with airport, 160 gig, 512, bluetooth with the money from the powerbook.

Fourth- Use the iBook as my main portable (or the 12" powerbook from work).

Do you guys think I can get that much from my powerbook on eBay? Its the standard config- 1.25, 512 ram, 80 gig, backlit keyboard, etc. I have the original box and manuals and software.

Thanks

I think you can sell the powerbook for more. I've seen it sell for more than that, as long as it's in good condition.
