iSight - Sound, BLACK SCREEN!

It's been a couple months since I've needed the iSight. Tried it tonight, have audio but the screen is black. Have shutdown.... unplugged.... turnd on.... plugged in.....shutdown (you get the picture) TRIED EVERYTHING except the idea one of our "geniuses" will give me. I've this problem posted at www.apple.com/support/isght with NO acceptable remedies.

Is Apple aware of this problem?

I have iChat AV 2.1 (v153) installed in my PowerBook G4.

Any assistance offered will be greatly appreciated. I hope it hasn't pooped out from non-use...LOL!
