Need help Geniuses!

I've got a 15" PowerBook running 10.3.5.

I've just had delivered and set up a new Panasonic TX-28PM1 widescreen TV and i want to watch video content from the PB on the new TV. I've connected the two using an S-Video cable, and i've tried reading the help stuff on the PB about outputting video, but for the life of me i can't get it to recognise the tv as an extra display and i can't output anything to it.

I've also tried inputting to the tv using an S-Video to Scart converter and got the same results.

Any ideas? Help would be mucho appreciated

EDIT:

Just tried using the s-video to composite adaptor that came with the PowerBook and now i have video. No clue why the s-video wouldn't work on it's own.

Now i just need a miniplug to rca adaptor or whatever they are called, for the sound. \

I have been considering using my old Lombard as an iTunes jukebox. Is the video acceptable? It would be cool to use a TV to display the iTunes visualizer.
