Apple Cinema Display???

Why does the 23" Apple cinema display say HD, while the 20" display does Not?????

I believe 1080 vertical pixels are required for true High Definition TV or video. The 20" Cinema is only 1050. Perhaps I'm not explaining it correctly, but that's the gist of it.

sooo a 23" display is that much better b/c idk if i can justify $2,000 for 3 inches.

Well, for some it may be if you are editing hd content or need the extra screen space...

Not just 3 inches, but about 60% more pixels.
