how can i watch tv on my powerbook?

    Yes, if you buy a separate device with a TV tuner such as EyeTV (http://www.elgato.com/) There are others too but I have EyeTV and like it a lot. You can get different versions of the hardware that plug into either the USB or FireWire ports of your PowerBook. You will also of course need to hook up EyeTV to your cable line, which will of course limit the mobility of your PowerBook...
