emac memory compatibility
Im looking to up my emacs memory with a couple of 512s. Ive found some nice cheap ones on ebay, only $50 each. However, they specifically say 'not mac compatible' and link off to more expensive ram that is.
These modules are 512MB 168pin SDRAM DIMM 64Mx64
which I think means that they are dual banked, which I know can cause issues, like only half the ram showing up.
Can anyone tell me if they are running this sort of ram ( 64Mx64 ) in an emac ( 2nd gen ), or if they have tried and had it incorrectly recognised?
