SBC Yahoo DSL question
I've been noticing the new ads for the $26.95 DSL & I had a question for
anyone that already has this. Do they provide local numbers or a 1-800
number to hookup with dialup when your not at home?
For example, you take your powerbook to your parent's house or vacation
& they don't have wifi access, so you dial in and get online at 56k speeds. Does
anyone know if this is included or would you need a separate account for that?

You may also look into netzero and services of its like, they will fix you up for ~$10 per month
I'm pretty sure it's included at no extra cost.
what is the area code that you think you might want to dial from?
I'll check and see if they have a local number in that area.
They don't have an 800 number.

I have SBC-Yahoo DSL and they provide dozens (maybe hundreds) of local access numbers you can use when you travel.

I visit my cousin & he lives in Naples, FL & sometimes we will go to South Beach
for a long weekend.
It's possible there may be another local number in a neighboring city.
Here's a weblink where you can search for access numbers:
