Font Agent Pro 2.1.1

in Mac Software edited January 2014
I just got this over the weekend, and it performs very well as a font manager in OS X 10.3.5. We use about 3,000 fonts and have active as many as 1,200 at a time.

I've had no problems with activating or deactivating sets of fonts. And its plug-ins work very well with Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 10. Startup time from log-in is about 15 seconds on a PowerMac G4, which is fine.

The only problem I've run into is batch importing large numbers of fonts. Font Agent Pro 2 exhibits two things:

1. Sometimes it will not import good fonts as part of a batch. If I import the fonts one-by-one, they import OK.

2. It will not pick up duplicates as well as it should. This means eliminating them by hand, which is tedious.

Are there any other users of this program who could offer some tips on font importing?
