Asante wifi card -need better drivers

My Asante Friendlynet AL 1211 DP 811b pc card will no longer lock onto my Airport Basestation. It detects the signal but will not lock and load.



Asante's most current drivers are 2 years old and the kismac drivers don't seem to work with this chipset.



When I go on the UCF Campus, the thing works like a champ - pretty sure that they're cisco routers.



Any ideas or hacked drivers, or even which chipset the damn thing has so I can ask better questions?
