Safari stops animating GIFs after 3 cycles

It seems that when I first load a page, the GIFs display fine, whether they be avatars or others. But after about 5 seconds, depending on the GIF, the GIF stops mid-frame.





Anybody else having this problem?





BTW, I have PithHelmet installed, but it's disabled.
