firewire card recommendations

Hey all. There was a power interrupt to my PowerMac and I think my internal firewire ports are now toast. I have a few more things to try to bring them back to life, but nothing has worked. Is there a particular brand and model of firewire PCI card you can recommend? I use X.3 Panther on a Quicksilver 867. I am also very very poor.

    Scratch that. Thanks for taking notice, but it turns out that after a complete motherboard reset (the kind wher you take the PRAM batt out for 15 minutes, etc) the firewire ports came back to life!!! Whew, I'm glad I'm geek and new to try that.
