Selling my iBook

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade to either a new iMac or a G4 iBook. As is such, I can't afford to keep my current computer. Here's the specs:

G3 iBook 800

40 GB HD

640 MB RAM

All currently installed music/software will be left up to your judgement for what you do with it.

Since no CD-R was bought with the computer, the 48x12x48 external

LaCie drive (that I named Bunsen) will be included.

Also included are several mac adapters that I have purchased... including an RCA/S-video out, SCSI out, 1/8' to RCA(2) and various USB/FW cables.

The computer has been great, and still is. I desire more, however. Make me an offer as far as what you think it's worth, or if you know and dont want to buy, let me know a fair asking price? Thanks much!

No one has an idea for a fair asking price?

Go to eBay and see what similar iBooks are going for.

Agreed. I'd guess $700-$800. If you bought a new G4 800 iBook from Macmall, a 512MB stick and Lacie CDRW, it'd probably run you $950. So you can probably extrapolate from there, since yours is used/G3.

I know you might be able to get a better price, but I've a friend who's been desperately on the iBook lookout who'll give you $550 straight up. That's unfortunately her limit.
