Audio problem: VSTs & AUs

I've got Metro 6.2.1 demo & Logic Platinum 6. When I try to load any VST or AU plugins that I have I cant. Theres no application showin for me to open them in, and when I browse in the program for them they arent able to be opened. My G4 is runnin Mac OS 10.2.8 (6R73). If anyone has a solution to my problem I would greatly appreciate it.

    I thought VST plugins were to be installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST, and that AudioUnits were introduced until 10.3, and won't work on 10.2.x?



    In other words, the VST tidbits aren't supposed to be opened in any application, but placed in the above folder. Restart the app, they should show up.



    The AudioUnits I don't *believe* will work until you upgrade to 10.3.

    The thing is, I have them in the folder. It still doesnt open anything. And AUs dont have to have Panther to work....
