AppleStore Birmingham - Jobs on Offer

Just seen on Apple's UK website that they are opening a store in Birmingham at the new Bullring. The store will be open early next year, and on their website they have links to send CVs.



Positions available are Mac Genius, Mac Specialist, Inventory Specialist, Assistant Manager and Store Manager.



I live 40mins (by train) from Birmingham city centre, and working with Apple tech would be cool, but i've just got a job and would like to see it through for a while (it's not what i ever imagined doing, but there's a good possibility of advancement), so I don't think i'll be applying...



...anyone else fancy it?

    i have often thought that having "certified mac genius" on my resume would be cool, but if the rumors of employees are true, the apple store jobs are pretty much just fancy computer retail. i have heard the mac geniuses have a few more perks, perhaps more pay (i can't recall), but i don't think anyone should quit their day job for it...

    Might drop by on of the times I'm in the "North" of England. Nice to see it's reasonably central.

    I wonder where in the Bullring the Apple store will be? I can think of only one of the new Bullrings retails spaces that is not currently used? and that is really small!?



    So either they are taking over someone elses space or this apple store will only be one of these mini-stores they are talking about?



    There is a newish extention to the bullring that will open in November but it looks like all of that space is taken up by a TK maxx



    I hope we get a "proper" store..
