I'm seriously investigating opening a Apple Dealership near me, is this a good time do you think? it wouldn't be in a particularly big UK town/city so I'm not too worried about them opening a direct store. Any thoughts, concerns, problems you can foresee?

Thanks.

Third-party resellers in the United States are experiencing difficulties getting product for their customers and one dealer that I have spoken with recently says that the feeling amongst the 3P dealers is that Apple is moving toward eliminating them altogether. The situation in the UK may be markedly different, but it would be a shame to invest capital in a venture only to have the product supplier withdraw their support. I'd do some research with the existing facilities in your town, or in neighboring towns, to see which way the wind is blowing....

Look more into offering services more so than sales. Is the market you're in 100k+? is the average household income fairly decent? are there good schools/universities around?
