I think a great deal. I have 3 Macs in the house now. Powerbook G4 550. Lime iMac G3 400. Bondi iMac G3 233.
Of course the Powerbook is most responsive, however the Bondi works great with OS X. Email, internet browsing even iTunes playing works great. Just add as much RAM as possible.
I say buy a couple, one for each room in your house.
Yah its a good deal but what can you do with these guys...
They aren't going to run os X well (if at all with usability)... OS 9 is dead... *shrugs* waste of money if you ask me.
well, my mother uses one at work with 10.3 on it. She has 192MB of RAM only and it chugs through Safari and Office relatively well and keeps her up-to-date and compatible. If she had more ram it'd be a better experience but since its her workplace she cant upgrade it or anything and they definitely won't.
Plus, it's fun to use classic Macs sometimes. I have a ton of old LCs and all-in-ones and a 9500 and some other macs at home and we have their original Mac OS on it or some of them have BeOS or Linux. Makes for good times (for a nerd).
