want to buy ipod online

Hi I livein athens greece and I want to buy thenew 40gb ipod. It costs 500 euros at the local apple store where the ipod is ordered online. 500 euros is too expensive especially now that the ipod has dropped a hundred dollars in price. Can I buy it from the british apple site or is that for british residents only? Anybody know of some european apple dealers online?
