Transintl.com worked for me. Other World Computing (www.macsales.com) is also good. 80 GB would probably be the easiest to find, although I thought I read that 100 GB drives are available. Go for a 5400 rpm.

Thanks for the input k squared. I searched for some 100GB drives as that would be preferable, and found a $285 Fujitsu ATA/100 drive at 4200 RPM.

you said that i should go for 5400 RPM, but drives that i have found at that speed have been much more expensive, up to $380. What is the difference between the two, and is it large enough that I should spend the extra $50+ to get the faster one?

I would definitely go for the faster drive. You'll really notice the difference. The slowest part of a computer is the HD, so if you were to get a bigger and faster drive, it would be like 2 mints in one. Check for some benchmarks online, and you'll see that the slower drives don't really save that much battery power anyways (maybe like 10 minutes).

Is there anyone else out there that's upgraded from a 4200rpm drive?

I upgraded my Titanium from the stock 10 GB 4200 rpm drive to a 40 GB 5400 drive. The difference in speed was quite noticeable: everything from importing into iTunes to copying files to launching applications.

EDIT: There's also 7200 rpm drives available. I'm sure barefeats.com has benchmarks available.
