Rendezvou chat with PC AIM

Is it possible to do an ad hoc rendezvou ichat with a PC that has AIM? I'm not on a network in class but I have a friend that has a PC with a wireless card and would like to chat over rendezvou. Is this even possible?

    I don't think AIM for PC supports Rendezous (zeroconf), so my guess is no.

    Is there any IM client that supports ZeroConf?
