Problem with iCal and Address book?

When I create an event in iCal, and then go into attendees, I enter the letter 'O', which brings up the name Owen from my Address book... so far so good... then I click on "Send Invitation"... but a warning then comes up telling me I need to have a card in my address book for owen and also myself before I can send an invitation.

I already have card's for both myself and Owen, obviously because all I needed to do was type 'O' for his name to appear.

Do I need to sync Address and iCal before hand for it to work? But I am assuming they are already sync'd... so what is going on?

Because,

Hmmmm... interesting problem iDunno, But it reminded me of a problem I also had last night.

You say you already have a card for yourself in your address book? But did you actually identify it as "your" card?

Go into Address Book, select the 'Me' card, and go Card>Make Card Mine.

    This should solve your problem,

Gee, thanks iDunno, that worked a treat.

I made the card mine and now I can send invitations to all my friends.

You know.... if ever I ever do anything.

Hey, wanna meet up sometime for a drink? You sound cute.

I had a similar revelation about how to resolve an issue while I was taking a crap this morning.
