    Of course, it's a ludicrous waste of money. That is the whole point. Collectors are whackos. There was a Polar Medal up for grabs recently that was expected to far exceed the high prices they usually go for because it had been misstruck. That is, it was worth more because it was wrong. That's the nutty world of collecting for you.



    If a bidding war doesn't start and it isn't sold for an amount roughly equal to someone's annual income, I'm going to be mightily disappointed.
