iChat iSight performance issues

Hi all,

just a huge heads up if you have been experiencing performance problems and jerkiness when using iChat and iSight.

I had been experiencing this problem for sometime, with no solution, until today.

By chance I decided to uninstall Norton's Antivirus and Personal Firewall to demo Virex, and lo and behold smooth flowing video and audio was the result!

Even though I had opened the necessary ports and configured the Nortons Personal Firewall correctly for iChat, something was still screwing up.

So for anyone experiencing this problem, first thing to do is to uninstall Symantec's crap software off your machine.

I did install Virex and it works fine with iChat at the highest flow rate setting of 2 MBps.
