Manually Installing printer driver in OS X 10.2 -Please help!
I'm trying to connect G4 17'' powerbook to be able to print to Canon i9100 printer connected to airport with USB over IP (not Rondevouz).
I downloaded the driver from Canon and installed it using Canon printer installation utility.
I did the usual thing (socket/ HP jetdirect...) but then when I goto to choose the printer canon does not show up. I choose "other" and that's where I'm stuck.
Where do I go to get the driver that was installed by the Canon driver installation utility? What kind of file (extension or type) am I looking for? This is not a postscript printer.
Thanks,
Skatman

You should look in
/Library/Printers/PPDs
/System/Library/Printers/PPDs
/User/someusername/Library/Printers/
Search your drive for and canon file and it might have a .ppd extension or look in preview and you should see it saying something like
*Adobe-PPD blah blah.
