Trouble with PC on AirPort Network

I have installed a Netgear MA521 Wireless PC Card in my girlfriend's HP Notebook (working to convert her) so she can access the internet over my AirPort Network.



Here is my problem... she can join the network, but cannot access the internet. I get an error saying the network has not assigned a network address.



Any help ?

    I had the same problem like that on an HP notebook too. It could see the Airport, but it couldn't connect. I just tried setting up the Airport with NO user password, but only with an admin. password. I think that worked. You can try it and see. \

    assuming its win2k or xp



    start->run->cmd



    ipconfig



    see if you have an ipaddress assigned



    is the aiport set to distribute ip's via dhcp ?

    do you have mac address filtering enabled ?

    Thanks for the help. I was able to connect after typing in the password in hex.
