Hello fellow Apple users,

I am a switcher as of when ever I get my G5 in. Actually I used to be a die hard Mac user but had to swtich due to the job. But its good to be back...*sigh*.

Anywho...I was wondering what remote desktop software you guys like to use for the mac. On the PC I used either the built in Microcrap terminal server/remote desktop or my beloved VNC which was very cross platform universal and had a really cool Java web service that came in handy. I know that VNC is available for OS X but I didn't know if it was the best or even stable. I also know that Apple writes one but it isn't cross platform. Basicly I need a remote desktop software that will make my Mac G5 remote on any platform easily.

Thanks in advance,

CGP

Apple's software is cross-platform... it falls back on VNC when it can't access the Apple specific protocol. It's probably overkill for home use though - it's more for managing huge labs of computers (with things like remote software upgrade, batch processing, locking screens, etc.)
