How many of the 23 inch displays can I run off one of the current PowerMacs? would there be power issues? I want to run them at native resolution.

Thanks.

Well assuming you have the std card with DVI and ADC out you could run 2 displays, One off the ADC as normal like if you just had the 1 display and then the second thru the apple DVI-ADC converter they sell. power issues would be zero!

No Doubt someone else will be able to better help you out but that is my understanding!

First off where did you get the money for one display without taking out a second mortgage let alone multiple 23 inch displays`. Second you should be able to run 2 off one of the stock powermacs.

Sorry, I should clarify my question. I know you can run two off one of the GeForce 4Ti (AGP) cards. What I need to know is if I can run more from PCI cards (i.e. 4 PCI dual head cards for a total of 10 displays)?

    Thanks in advance.

i know you can do it in OS9, and AFAIK you can still do it in OSX.

you could have at least 9 monitors back in System 7

9 23" flat panels is $31.5k, your name must be Mr. Gates to afford that!

This is a great question. Not that I can run more than my 22" display from my Cube, or not that I can even run a 23" HD from the ATY/rage6gy card in there now. I, for one would love to be able to run my 15" display, too. What would I need.

Of course i could just go out and buy a new PowerMac and abandon my whole philosophy of computing. Besides the SuperBoards are still not out.... <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />
