Hidden files on USB flash hard drive ?

My colleague moved some files from my G4 w Panther 3.5 via a flash hard drive called Pen Drive Plus 2.0. Two external usb hard drives showed up on my Mac ; a No Name and a USBDiskPro. When she copied her files to No Name, the files (and No Name) were not visible on her PC with XP. We think they may have been 'hidden' somewhere, but we did not see them on the USB flash hard drive when searching for hidden files. We then copied the files on my Mac to USBDiskPro and they then showed up on the PC.
