Screen won't turn off PB

I have a new PB, and recently the screen just isn't turning off



right now I just set it to turn off in 1 minute, and i leave it.. and it turns off, but when I put a screen saver on (Beach) to go off in 5 minutes, and the screen to turn off in 10 minutes, the screen saver just stays on and the screen never turns off, any idea on what the problem could be?

    I just did an experiment, and noticed that the screen does turn off. sort of. it just dims, how can i get it to fully turn off?
