Mac HW knows PC HW
I recently had an older monitor (one that went with my performa)
I hooked an old PC up to a PC monitor and it worked fine. So I hooked up the mac monitor to it (both DB-15)
Well the mac monitor lit the inside of the PC on fire, it melted all the wiring on the video card, smoke billowed out, and there actually was a small flame i'm pretty sure. Granted burning plastic is a horrid smell, it was awesome...of couse the Mac Monitor still worked...but the PC i'm pretty sure didn't anymore
