getting an MP3 from DV Soundtrack?

Hi all,

The title says it all, really. I have a DV home movie that for various reasons I need to put the soundtrack only onto a CD. As such, I need to extract the audio, and convert to MP3 (actually, I guess any format that iTunes can read) so I can burn the track as a CD.

Software I have is iMovie (extract audio doesn't seem to be a real extract, more of a way to move the audio around the movie), iTunes (that can't import the audio track within the movie folder), QT (but not Pro), Toast.

I'm using 10.2.8.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Thanks,

David
