What kind of speakers are these?

I saw a picture of a G5 setup with these cool-looking speakers on each side

of the monitor. Does anyone know what they are called & who makes them?

    experiences. Are they well made? etc.

    You're welcome. I saw them in an Apple store, but didn't want to "crank them up". The speaker enclosures are made of plastic, not aluminum was all I really noticed. As a rule, Altec Lansing tends to make high quality speakers; the company has been around for a long time. If you're close to an Apple store it might be worth a trip to see them up close, and give a listen. Let us know what you think if you do. Thanks.

    I assume so, but these Logitech clones are really sweet, too. My friend has 'em, they rock.

    I have these speakers and I think they are excellent. Most Apple stores are set up for you to listen to them. I got mine from newegg.com
