I just ordered a 12" PowerBook tonight and would like to know if the 1.33Ghz model still has the same heat issues as the previous generation of 12" Powerbooks.

Also, are there any other known issues with the 12" 1.33Ghz model?

haven't noticed ANY heat issues although it does get a little hot underneath the hard drive but that could be because it's a 7200 RPM HD (;^)

    - the bottom is a little 'warped;' the notebook doesn't sit flat on a hard surface but I'm' told this will go away (!?)

Otherwise, it's flawless - simply flawless...

If you're talking about the heat under the left bottom corner from the hard disk, no, it hasn't been fixed. Just looked at one today in the tech store on campus. It's not as bad as some have made it out to be, though. I don't really notice it on my 12". I wouldn't worry about it too much.
