How do I make iPod recognise new computer as "it's" computer?

I have just gotten a new Mac, but now I can't get iSync to find the iPod.... how do I make the iPod recognise that the new computer is it's computer, so that I can iSync the iPod with the new comp?

    Does the computer see the iPod at all? Does it sync with iTunes? In iSync did you try to use the option to add a device?
