I have absolutely no clue how dumb this question is... but is it possible to use old Apple CRT displays from the AGP PowerMac G4 era with a brand new G5? If so, are any adapters needed?

Should just need a VGA to DVI connector.

I have some old CRT with my G4 as my second mac at work.
