When is Apple planning to advertise the iMac?

I'm referring to TV...print ads are fairly common.



Has anyone caught an ad on TV yet?

    I think it would be smart if they waited till the point where you could just walk into an apple store and buy one, if there is a waiting list for them then I don't really see a point in advertising.

    I've seen many units for sale at my local Apple stores, but I bet they're still in short supply. I'm sure other retailers (like Comp USA) don't have 'em yet.



    Until they are widely available, I doubt Apply will air major advertisements.



    However, once Christmas starts to approach, I expect full blown media campaign for both the iMac, the iBook, and of course the iPods.

    I am on the waiting list at my local store, I haven't decided if I want it but I got some time to decide.
