Just got an iPod, have questions

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
So I just bought a Gen5 15gigger for 75 dollars. Came with the iPod, and the firewire cable. I use Windows XP. I wanna set the iPod to default, as if I bought it new, I wanna wipe the HD and set it up from scratch, but I can't find a manual on apple's site. Can anyone direct me to like a free manual, or help me out. Thx.

    You must be either incredibly lazy (likely) or unable to follow even the simplest directions because Apple's site is pretty plainly laid out on where to find the manuals and iPod info.



    Try here. Open that and you have an option to restore factory defaults. For reference I expect you got a 3rd generation iPod. Manual is here.

    To Telomar: I'm not lazy. I did a search on apple.com for "ipod manual" and I found nothing relevant.
