Biege Powermac/G3 easy-open case can't open...please help!

Anybody ever had a problem trying to open these biege easy-open cases?Any advice on how to open them once they become not so easy to open?

I'm not sure what you are asking. To open a beige g3 you remove the side panel, then flip out the two tabs oneither sides, and then flip the drive/powersupply assembly outward.

Basically the side panel doesn't come off when you press on the release handle. It appears to be jammed somewhere.What should I do? Did anybody else ever have a problem with these Biege easy open cases?

Hmm, sometimes when you put the side panel on they do not lock in properly. Try pushing the side panel in a little and see if the button pops out a little. Then try to push it again. Remember you push and hold the button. If the button is broken I'd recommend getting a flat head screw driver and try to gently pry the it open.

I'm sure you checked this, but there is a locking mechanism on the back of the computer, if it is pulled out a little bit, the computer won't open, try pushing that in...

If it dosen't move, just keep pushing. You break a little plastic in the name of progress, what's the big deal?
