LightWave and Dualies

Does anyone know if Lightwave 8 can take advantage of dual processors? It's on my Christmas list. (the cheapo student version) It's not a big deal since I don't actually have dual processors, but I'd like to know anyway as that will probably be the determining factor between an iMac or another PowerMac when I decide to upgrade someday.

Yes, when rendering. You have to play around with the number of threads, but yes. Outside of rendering, I'm not sure.
