sleep mode

hey,



I bought a PB G4 a few weaks ago and I'm wondering if there is any way I can close it without getting it in sleep mode, since sleep mode stops all processes, like downloads, msn logins, etc. Most of all other not mac laptops continue with their processes after being closed. I'd like to know if this is possible with the PB. It's nice to have it closed at night and still be able to download stuff, etc.

    Hmmm...I think there might be an override for that.



    (THe only way I can think of is if you have an extra USB keyboard, close the lid, let it go to sleep, and then plug the keyboard in, and it'll wake up without having its lid open, and will continue doing whatever it was before through the night.)

    I believe you must attach a monitor to it. Monitor or keyboard or something like that, for some reason.

    I have pb, and just turn the screen all the way down and let it do whatever with the screen open. Or if you want, you can close it almost all the way and it will still work.
