iTunes corruption

Hi

I've just bought an iPod photo and was attaching pics to files when iTunes crashed. I force quit it and then loaded it again, but then I noticed that a song always caused iTunes to crash. I've tried deleting it manually and in iTunes, but that doesn't work. I don;t want to delete the library file cos that would cause all my ratings and play counts to disappear. I would have considered it but I've tried copying songs from iPod to iTunes but they seem to have disabled it in 4.7!

Is there anyway to get rid of this song without losing my song ratings, playlists and play counts?

HELP! (can i revert to 4.6?)

What happens when you try deleting it manually?

Actually i'm pretty sure that ratings do get transfered to iPods and vice-versa.
