Dear Appleinsiders,

I just got a mighty shock from my ailing power adaptor on my 12 powerbook.

its time for a change. Now I'm not interested in buying an apple one as really its way more expensive than it needs to be. I found this one by MacAlly which seems like it might work. What I'm looking for from you folks is you opinions and perhaps suggestions of where and what to buy. I'm in Alberta which is in Canada so that might make a difference of what online store you send me to.

thanks a bunch.

flick.

Give Apple a call. I don't even have AppleCare and they replaced mine for free.

Problem is it was chewed apart by a very naughty dog..

so now the plastic end piece that plugs into my powerbook is totally separate from the rest.. well thats to say it would be if I hadn't electrical taped it together to get the things I'm working on going.. anyway.. I doubt apple will warranty this as its not manufacture defect.. just that pooch likes plastic..

    flick.
