New Dealer - disk image query

I'm about to start a new apple-only dealership and I have a question regarding 'disk-images'. It makes sense to me to have a portable firewire drive with a CCC-created disk image on to build the demo machines, it may also make sense to do the same for newly sold machines for users that want help setting up the machine. My question is can I have a single disk image for all mac models that I want to demo (i.e. one day a bunch of kids screw-up all the machines and I want to reset them all, can I just FWTDM each machine and CCC down the image, or does it need special versions for certain models?). On the same subject do you have an recommendations for system-setup for the demo-machines, i.e. passwords etc?

My other question is similar, I expect some customers want help setting up their machines, now obviously I could just sit there with the install disk and do a basic install but does anyone have any other time-saving ideas that would tolerate minor post-install changes like machine and user-name.

Sorry to be a pest, just want to get preaching the gospel of st. steve

The software that comes with each machine is different. The eMac has several games and the desktop doesn't have any games but does come with other apps. So you would need to have a image for each type. Most demo machine don't have passwords, therefore having a backup is necessary. I help maintain a Mac lab at a school and have to go in and redo a machine about once a month, because the kids TRY to bypass what is allowed on the machines. In that case it is a lot easier to wipe the drive and do a new install with all the programs that the school allows.

The new machines are very easy to set up. Even grabing the info from old machines now takes almost no time. Unless the customer has problems typing or is completely new and has no idea what an ISP is, there is almost no hand holding required.
