quick question about headphones

I jsut bought a pair of Altec Lansing headphones. they were 50 bucks and have a frequency response of 20Hz-20Khz. I'm not an audiophile and I'm only using these headphones for editing, but is that frequency response decent? I jsut wanted to check before I open up the box. Thanks.
